We are a church community who want to express the love of God and the good news of Jesus in a wide variety of different ways, so we are always looking for new ways to express this practically.
This year we will again be collecting shoeboxes for the Samaritan’s Purse Appeal – packing Sunday is on 8th November at Bideford College – more details are available in the enews and on Sunday mornings.
Following the incredible success of last year’s Christmas Toybank, we will once again be buying, wrapping and distributing Christmas gifts to needy families within our local community.
Last year, we gave 1,144 presents to 278 children locally from 128 families – and plan to do the same or more this year!
We also packed and gave over 130 Christmas Hampers to local needy families.
